Join us as talented cake artists converge to unlock their creativity in transforming the traditional tiered cake! This competition is a platform for participants to showcase their skills while weaving captivating stories through cake and other edible mediums. Get ready for a journey filled with delicious creations and imaginative artistry.

Though the cake’s interior will be inedible, it should be representative of a cake that could be recreated in a bakery setting or professional kitchen and served at a large gathering.

Competitors will create their concept cakes ahead of time, off-site, according to the competition rules. This competition is open to professional cake artists.

After registration, selected competitors will be invited to craft and deliver their Concept Cakes. Upon drop-off, each competitor will be assigned a display area where they may add any finishing touches to their design and dress their display space. Competitors are required to bring all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment needed to complete their displays.

Competitors may bring one assistant to help with setup. Space will be limited at each station, so competitors are expected to plan accordingly and be considerate of others setting up nearby.

Judged by a select committee, Concept Cakes will be scored on the same day they are presented for display. The creations will remain on display throughout the conference, where attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite design for the People’s Choice award.
